At the end of the morning programming of the third day of the 3rd CIIS, the lecture “The Virtual Campus of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO): Agenda 2030 and the Collaborating Centers”, presented by Gabriel Listovsky and Isabel Duré, regional coordinator of the PAHO Public Health Virtual Campus, and consultant in the area of Human Resources for Health of the same organization, took place.
During the lecture, the guests announced the partnership between the Technological Innovation in Health Laboratory of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (LAIS/UFRN) and PAHO. It was also pointed out that all units that are part of the agency’s virtual campus can consult LAIS, due to the established partnership.
To conclude the presentation, Isabel Duré highlighted that all the research, innovation and investigation work in the area of science, produced by LAIS, aroused the interest of the organizers of PAHO/WHO in carrying out this collaboration. In addition, she explained how the process of building cooperation with the laboratory occurred.
